Program Details

Guelph's first established cooperative preschool, originally opened in 1969 as Winnie the Pooh. Royal City is registered for CWELCC and offers play-based toddler and preschool classes at 87 Dean Avenue inside Harcourt Memorial United Church. Daily programming includes free play, circle, songs, stories, calendar, crafts, outdoor play, dramatic play, tactile activities, reading, puzzles, games, blocks, vehicles, science, field trips, and special events, with families involved in school operation and daily activities through the co-op model.

Toddler class Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; preschool classes Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
