Non-profit co-operative nursery school at 228 Bartlett Avenue in Dovercourt Village. The operator says Dover Gardens has operated since 1983 and provides a safe, engaging playschool for toddlers 18 to 30 months and preschoolers 2.5 to 5 years with support from two qualified Registered Early Childhood Educators. The program uses a family-model approach in which toddlers and preschoolers participate in many of the same activities, with daily circle time, free play, crafts, sensory bins, blocks, puzzles, dramatic play, toileting and handwashing routines, nutritious snack, physical play, and outdoor playground time.
